As 2025 draws to a close, Norway can look back on a historic turning point. During the year, electric vehicles have continued to dominate new car registrations, and in early December, electric cars also became the most common drivetrain in the entire Norwegian passenger car fleet.
When Jessica Tjulander joined MEKO, she knew the role of Wholesale Director would come with challenges — but she had no idea just how much influence she would have. She has played a key role in driving both change and collaboration across the company, working on everything from strategic initiatives in tires and EV spare parts to the development of automated central warehouses. Her work goes far beyond purchasing and logistics; it’s about building networks, sharing expertise, and helping shape MEKO’s future.

MEKO is strengthening its logistics with new state-of-the-art distribution centers across several markets. The result is higher efficiency, a broader range of spare parts, and new capacity for growth. “The step we are taking now is significant. It benefits our customers and gives MEKO a much stronger platform,” says Jessica Tjulander, Director of Wholesale at MEKO.
A growing number of car owners are choosing affordable alternatives for spare parts and products that maintain the same high quality as established brands. MEKO is meeting this demand by bringing together its exclusive brands into a new division with a clearer strategy. The goal is to offer parts and products that match established manufacturers in performance, are adapted to Nordic conditions, come with warranties, and are easily accessible – at a more competitive price.
Jonas Nilsson is driven by a passion for leading and developing people. As Chief Operating Officer of ProMeister Services, he has found his calling – equipping Sweden’s future automotive technicians with the knowledge and tools they need to service and repair both new and older vehicles. “It is a wide-ranging responsibility that requires close collaboration across several areas – exactly the kind of challenge I thrive on.”
MEKO is making a major push into new product segments while significantly expanding its logistics capabilities. The ambition is clear: to reinforce its position as the market leader in Northern Europe – and unlock new avenues for growth.
MEKO's booking platform eliminates the hassle for both car owners and workshops. The goal is to make it easy to book the right service with just a few clicks, no matter how little you know about your car. The advantage for workshops is that the new platform saves them several hours of administrative work.

MEKO is taking a major step into the commercial vehicle sector with the launch of a powerful new division. The operation is led by Nils Hollmann, who brings over 15 years of industry experience. "We’re now picking up the pace in a fragmented market—but one that’s also full of opportunities. That applies both to MEKO and to everyone who owns, drives, repairs, or maintains commercial vehicles," he says.
Tires are one of the most critical factors for safety, comfort, and performance in a vehicle. With the right tires, car owners can both improve driving comfort and enhance road safety. Tires are also a strategically important product with significant growth opportunities and potential for upselling. This is why MEKO invests heavily in tires, including a multi-year agreement with Goodyear, one of the world's largest and most renowned tire manufacturers.
Imagine your car breaks down and is brought to the workshop because it won’t start. After initial troubleshooting, technicians discover an issue that can't be solved with a standard diagnostic tool. Instead of towing the car to an original equipment (OE) workshop, the workshop connects with Remote diagnostics. MEKO’s expert technicians, utilizing OE-level diagnostic tools, resolve the issue remotely, saving time, costs, and eliminating the need for the car to be towed.
During 12 months will 12 employees from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Finland and the Baltics get the chance to be part of shaping the mobility of the future at MEKO, the leading independent aftermarket company in northern Europe.
