MEKO is accelerating in the commercial vehicle sector

MEKO is taking a major step into the commercial vehicle sector with the launch of a powerful new division. The operation is led by Nils Hollmann, who brings over 15 years of industry experience. "We’re now picking up the pace in a fragmented market—but one that’s also full of opportunities. That applies both to MEKO and to everyone who owns, drives, repairs, or maintains commercial vehicles," he says.

MEKO is accelerating in the commercial vehicle sector

Commercial vehicles encompass everything from trucks, trailers, and buses to vans and pickups. For companies relying on these vehicles in their business, minimizing downtime is critical. Every hour a truck is off the road not only means lost revenue but also higher repair costs and the risk of missed contracts or delayed deliveries.

“For transport companies, where time is money, getting a vehicle back on the road quickly is crucial. That’s why having a reliable partner for repairs, spare parts, and service is an invaluable asset,” says Nils Hollmann and adds:

“That’s exactly why MEKO is the perfect partner – for both owners and operators of commercial vehicles. We deliver parts quickly and offer timely service thanks to our widespread geographic presence. And we do it at the right price. In short, MEKO is ready to be the obvious first choice for everyone working with commercial vehicles.”

Strong synergies and a future-proof organization
MEKO holds a leading position in the independent automotive aftermarket in Northern Europe, backed by world-class logistics. With our market presence and scale comes strong purchasing power, making MEKO well-equipped to meet the high expectations of both workshops and vehicle owners. Through the new division, we are consolidating and strengthening MEKO’s expertise in the commercial vehicle sector – laying the foundation for a competitive and future-proof organization.

“We are fully committed to taking a leading position in the commercial vehicle aftermarket – just as we have done for passenger cars,” says Hollmann.

Strong momentum and growing market potential
This strategic push comes from a solid position in several markets. MEKO already has an established presence in the Nordic commercial vehicle sector, with around 100 affiliated workshops under the MECA Truck brand. This extensive network provides vital support for customers whose businesses depend on transport and delivery – where every minute of downtime counts.

And there is significant growth potential. The market value for spare parts and accessories for commercial vehicles is currently estimated at over SEK 50 billion. The aftermarket is largely comprised of smaller players – something Nils Hollmann sees as a major opportunity for expansion.

“We’re stepping up in a fragmented market, and that fragmentation actually creates opportunity – for MEKO and everyone who owns or operates commercial vehicles,” he says.

Digitalization for an improved customer experience
MEKO is already a digital leader in its markets, continuously developing solutions to improve the customer journey. As the company strengthens its focus on commercial vehicles, it brings the same ambition: to broadly launch a unified parts catalog that makes it easy to find the right components.

“We’re currently testing the new catalog in Sweden and Norway to explore how we can make it even more user-friendly. That’s key for us: Being a MEKO customer should be simple and secure,” says Hollmann.

MEKO expands investment in Exclusive Brands

A growing number of car owners are choosing affordable alternatives for spare parts and products that maintain the same high quality as established brands. MEKO is meeting this demand by bringing together its exclusive brands into a new division with a clearer strategy. The goal is to offer parts and products that match established manufacturers in performance, are adapted to Nordic conditions, come with warranties, and are easily accessible – at a more competitive price.
